Mantras are transcendental sounds, producing specific responses in the physical body. The power is in the sound, not the meaning of the word, though the meaning is loaded with potent creative power.

These sounds and chants can be whispered, sang, meditated, celebrated and integrated to allow their blessings permeate our lives. Creating Love, joy, and healing, resolving ailments and changing Karma, as well as affluence and abundance and.the power of creation is in the sound !

Most are ancient chants and songs and Mantras from all over the word and various cultures that resonate in our bodies, uplift our spirit and liberated our souls.

Repeating a mantra will enable us to tune inwards, becoming still in our minds and lead to a growing awareness of the subtle energies around. Mantras cultivate serenity.  Mantras can be chanted or sang audibly and can also be silent internal vibrational resonance.

One Mantra can be utilised for a short duration lasting a few minutes, hours, days, or can serve months and years. There will come a point of completion that emanates not from the mind deciding, where a sense of fullness and completion.

Sometimes experienced as a mantra that has been chanted for a long time, the person chanting it suddenly cannot remember the words, it is as if they no longer need to be expressed. Mantras create a healing vibration that resonates in the body, mind and our soul.

On exhalation express the mantra clearly & steadily. Gradually, decrease the volume of the mantra until you internalise it, hearing it in your mind (in the body as well). When a sound vibration is internalised, resonating within, it generates power.

Another way to use a chant mantra is on exhalation, vocalise the mantra, creating a vibration that originates in the physical body. On inhalation, internalise the mantra. The silent mantra will reverberate in the etheric body. The sound mantra on exhalation awakens and uses the Shakti Kundalini energy, manifesting in the etheric resonance, realising the power of the chakra.

Mantras are transcendental sounds, producing specific responses in the physical body. The power is in the sound, not the meaning of the word, though the meaning is loaded with potent creative power.

Man meaning Mind and Tra meaning Quiet. Ancient Sanskrit texts say there is no Tantra without mantra!

Mantras are sacred sounds that activate energy and consciousness within the body. The use of mantras, chants or affirmations is a vital ingredient in Tantra, they can be in any language, traditional mantras and blessings were in Aramaic, Arabic, Hebrew, Sanskrit and Latin.

Pronunciation can be regarded paradoxically. It is both very important and at the same time, not at all. On the one hand, pronunciation is so important because uttering the sacred sounds could bring healing, break down barriers and could perhaps blast cancerous cells. That is why teaching by an accomplished practitioner, or guru, is important.

On the other hand, the intention itself contributes to the beneficial ‘magical’ effects. One of my mantra teachers said that the sound that emanates from within is the right one for us.

It is said that the Buddha gave a poor woman a mantra which she mispronounced constantly for many days. However, her intention and conviction was so pure and she was so focused on her task that it had the desired effect. So relax and enjoy making mistakes.

The pronunciation of mantras is different to the written form. Traditionally they are transmitted from the teacher/guru/the bringer of enlightenment. Chanted minimum 108 times or sang for forty days can be beneficial to all.

These sounds and chants can be whispered, sang, meditated, celebrated and integrated to allow their blessings permeate our lives. Creating Love, joy, and healing, resolving ailments and Karma, as well as affluence and abundance and.

Embodying a mantra or affirmation is an important part of a daily tantric practice. You can chant, sing or whisper either in your language or in the ancient sacred languages.

Sanskrit is said to be the sacred language of the gods, not spoken as everyday speech. It is not an everyday language. There are 50 letters in the Sanskrit alphabet. Each syllable can mean many different things depending on context and the placing in a mantra and resonate in different parts of the body.

The sounds have energetic resonance and they affect our energy and our physicality. Sound is the power of creation, a joyful prayer and a blessing.

The information here is an extract from my book: “Sacred chants and mantras” due for publication later this year.

The power of creation is in the sound.

Wishing you all that you desire.
