Am asked so many times: “what practice can I do everyday to love my body / my life / to belong? ” or ” what to do to overcome Body Dysmorphia” (perceiving the body in distortion) and ” How can I make my life more spiritual and accept what is happening in the world?” One of the most profound practices in Tantra Kriya Yoga, if the “Aum Ahadi Aum” / “Om Ahadi Om”. Meaning: “I am At One With All That Is” It can be an internal Mantra or you can say it several times at any time. In the three main sacred languages: “Ahadi” in Sanskrit, means ONE,; in Hebrew Echad; , in Arabic Wahad”. Same same…
As a Tantric Practice, saying it during mundane chores such as washing the dishes, can elevate this task to a transcendental experience. Thich Nhat Hanh a great Buddhist monk said: “Dharma (life’s Purpose) in the Dishes”: “If while washing dishes we think only of the cup of tea that awaits us, thus hurrying to get the dishes out of the way, we are not alive during the time we wash the dishes. We are completely incapable of realizing the miracle of life. We will only be thinking of other things, barely aware. Thus we are sucked away into the futureand are incapable of actually living one minute of life. Every act is a rite of mindfulness.”
